We are a very small, part-time operation with the goal of helping general aviation pilots in the city stay current with their IFR skills. Training is by appointment only on specified dates. Please note, if you are a non-US citizen it is mandatory that you present a TSA clearance before starting any training. Also, for any student, make sure to bring a Picture ID documenting your Citizenship to your first appointment. We are currently Closed over the Winter month and will be back Mid-February.

ELITE iGate Simulator
The ELITE iGATE Simulator is an integrated aviation training device (BATD). It is an FAA approved flight simulator for training towards instrument licensing and to maintain IFR currency in common single and multi-engine general aviation aircraft. The simulator supports single and multi engine training and you will be able to log your training time in your logbook.
About Manhattan Flight Simulator
Manhattan Flight Simulator is a small operation catering to a specific IFR training need in General Aviation. Scheduling is flexible and we will do everything to accommodate your training goals and busy schedule.
Most of us who work and live in the city know that the trip to General Aviation airports is a bit of a drag: almost no public transport available & deal with peak bridge & tunnel traffic. We love flying and gladly put up with it. However, often enough required training can be done in a simulator with a fraction of the usual time investment. We are all busy and need to be smart about using our time & resources.
Simulator Enthusiast?
Enthusiasts are welcome and can book training sessions with an FAA instructor, however, they are for-fun only sessions and do not count towards any licenses.
Looking to become a pilot?
